October 17, 2019 – MAZE Resolutions PA is pleased to announce the addition of former Circuit Court Judge Mari Sampedro-Iglesia. Ms. Iglesia will be facilitating in broad ranges of dispute resolution, including, personal injury, foreclosure, real estate, first property insurance, professional malpractice, employment, maritime, class action, banking, bankruptcy, construction, securities, products liability, discrimination, sports & entertainment, post-judgement, paternity, divorce, complex unified family court cases, and early mediation before the case is filed. However, her focus will be on family-related matters.
From 1989 to 2009; Ms. Iglesia practiced with several Miami-based law firms, as well as practiced as a sole practitioner, specializing in criminal, family, appellate, first property insurance, and insurance defense litigation. For over ten years she was an Eleventh Judicial Circuit Court Judge for Miami-Dade County. She presided over the Unified Children’s, Dependency, and G.R.A.C.E. (Human Trafficking) divisions. She was also the sole creator of G.R.A.C.E. Court, the first human trafficking court in the country, specializing in all aspects of a minor human trafficking survivor’s case.
With more than 30 years of trial and litigation experience, Ms. Iglesia offers a vast knowledge of ADR. “I am excited that I will continue my career in the way I know and love best: helping families through trying times. Ms. Iglesia received a bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Miami and obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law.
